In relation to information and falsehoods published by some media outlets and interested parties in recent days, Valencia CF wish to state:
1. Despite having fewer tickets available than for the 2019 Copa del Rey final, Valencia CF will put 639 more tickets on sale for season ticket holders than in that previous edition: In 2019, at a stadium with a greater capacity than La Cartuja, the club put 12,106 tickets on sale for season ticket holders, whilst in 2022 12,745 will be on sale.
2. The total number of tickets that will go on sale for the Gol Norte section amounts to 17,497, broken down into the following groups: Season ticket holders who meet the requirements (95% of a total of 13,565 season ticket holders will be able to purchase); VIP Season ticket holders; Fans from other parts of the world who cannot be season-ticket holders due to their location; the Valencia CF Footballers Association; Players from the VCF Academy; Affiliated schools; Small Shareholders Association members; and employees. The vast majority of members of these groups are currently season ticket holders.
3. Tickets available due to institutional commitments with partners are for seats located in another part of the stadium and are not included in this package of tickets on sale.
4. The timeframe in which season ticket holders can check if they meet the requirements to buy tickets has been accessible through a 'dashboard', in the same way that it was done in 2019 through PDF documents. Valencia CF regret that not all fans can attend to support the team at La Cartuja and understand that in a situation where, unfortunately, demand exceeds supply, there are fans who feel frustrated because they do not have a ticket for the final.
5. Neither the President of Valencia CF, Anil Murthy, nor the Board of Directors reserved tickets for personal interests, and the publication by some media outlets that the president has 8,000 tickets at his disposal is completely false. Valencia CF reserve the right to take the appropriate legal measures against those who have made such serious accusations without foundation or basis in reality.
6. The team need the support of fans and for us to join forces ahead of a beautiful opportunity to win a trophy on April 23rd in Seville.
